Childhood throwback: Diary of a wimpy kid
Diary of a wimpy kid was one of the first books I read as a child. The book is about a middle schooler named Greg Heffley who faces a lot of challenges trying to be popular at school. The series starts when he gets a journal from his mom and records all the events that happen at school and his day to day life. The events that happen include, his brother pulling pranks on him, hanging out with his friend Rowley, and a giant school game called the cheese touch where someone touched a piece of old cheese on the basketball court and everybody starts avoiding the person with the "cheese touch" like a plague. If you ever feel like going back in time to when you were a child and relive some nostalgic moments this book is for you
I find it interesting that you reviewed a childhood throwback!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed diary of a wimpy kid as well; it was one of the first books I read. I remember playing the cheese touch with my friends during lunch. This book sparks some memories of when I was really young. Nice summary.
